Mister Cheese had a brief stint as a Fireman before entering the business of cheese. Unfortunately he wasn’t very effective at saving lives, as he was much too pre-occupied with salvaging precious pieces of cheese from burning buildings.

Since then Mister Cheese has turned a new leaf, but his smoky stockpile of cheese remains. This one is his favourite – a creamy cheddar rescued from the fiery flames, providing a wonderful smoked flavour.

So, you've got your hands on some of Mister Cheese's delicious selection. What now? It's a question we are often asked, so here's the best way to enjoy Mister Cheese's finest flavours:

Let it settle Take the cheese out of the fridge and allow it to reach room temperature. Not only will the cheese taste better, but the wax will soften and be easier to cut.
Remove the wax Next, take your truckle and gently cut across the centre on both sides of the wax. You should be able to easily pull the wax away (the wax is not edible!)
Start your adventure Finally, you can sample your delicious cheese. Enjoy on it’s own, or pair with your favourite crackers and wine for the ultimate taste sensation!
